renovation - after we done the living dining room we renovated this month the bedroom. We go an 100 years old fireplace mantelpiece from Moms neighbor who took his house done, and we got it for free, it fits perfect in our bedroom as a decoration piece. We also changed the furniture into different places and got Letties Grandfathers very old dresser.
Renovieren - nachdem wir das Wohn/esszimmer renoviert hatten war jetzt das Schlafzimmer dran. Wir haben einen schoenen alten kamin Holzrahmen bnekommen der aus dem Nachbarhaus meine Schwiegereltern kam, Das Haus war 100 Jahre alt und wurde abgerissen und wir haben den Holzrahmen umsonst bekommen, jetzt ist er ein Dekorationsstueck.
picking berries - we went a coupe times to broxburns farms to pick straw and raspberries, what a nice place to be.
Fruechte picken - wir waren ein paarmal auf einer Farm Beeren fluecken, das ist ein schooner Ort und die Broxburn farm hat ein gutes Restaurant.
BC trip to Nelson - Lettie and Nicole went a week to Nelson BC to stay with Rachel and Angus, old friends of Mom and Dads. They went on the way there and back via Wasa Lake and the Ferry across Kootaney Lake. At Wasa Lake the stayed in a nice B@B and they also visited Fort Steele on their way back. The trip was great and it was so nice that they could Stay with the Paton's. That week it was only me and Buddy as Erica was still at Camp.
Reise nach Nelson BC - Lettie und Nicole waren bei alten Freunden ihrer Eltern in Nelson BC. Die beiden haben auf dem Weg der ca. 7 Stunden autofahrt an einem See Zwischen pause und eine Ubernachtung in einem B@B gemacht auf dem Weg hin sowie zurueck. Die beiden haben auch Fort Steele ein grosses Freilichtmuseum das die Zeit um 1880 wiederspiegelt. Waehren die beiden eine gute Zeit hatten waren nur Buddy und ich Zuhause da Erica ja noch im Camp war.
Youth Forrest ranger - Erica had a great time in the Camp, cleaning trails and do other forest stuff with teenagers her age. She even was once on a helicopter ride. It was great for her to be independent but still with a group of kids who had the same kind of interest in nature, and it was paid well.
Jugden wald Arbeiter - Erica hat ihre 7 Wochen im Waldcamp beendet und hatte eine klasse Zeit mit Kindern ihres alters. Die haben dort Waldwegen angelegt oder gesaeubert und andere |Waldarebeiten verrichtet, das ganze natuerlich gegen bezahlung, und sie konnte sogar mal in einem Hubschrauber fliegen.
Bayern Munich Tickets - YES I got tickets to see a football game of my favorite game the time that I will be in Munich during Oktoberfest, so thrilled that I could get Tickets for the Allianz Arena.
Bayern Muenchen Karten - der totalle Wahnsinn, ich habe Tickets fuer die Allianz arena bekommen um dort Bayern : Wolfsburg zu sehen wenn ich zur Oktoberfest Zeit in Muenchen bin.
Day in the mountains - Nicole went on a day trip to castle Mountain during the Huckleberry festival, and went that sane day to Waterton to enjoy a day in the mountains, while Lettie and Erica went to Calgary to pick up Sofia from Spain.
Tag in den Bergen - Waehrend Lettie und Erica unsere Studentin aus Spanien abgeholt haben waren Nicole und ich in den Bergen. Erst bei einem Blaubeeren Festival am Ski gebiet und ann spaeter noch in Waterton um einen schoenen Nachmittag in den Bergen zu haben.
Sofia - we have our Spanish Student Sofia with us, she will stay till November (half of the time with Erica and her Dad other half with us). Erica is than in Spring 2016 with Sofia and her family in Spain north of Madrid. Erica and Lettie picked her up at Calgary airport and went to Canmore/Banff for 2 nights.
Sofia - wir haben eine Spanische Austauschstudentin, bis November (zur haelfte mit uns und zur anderen haelfte mit Erica und ihrem Papa). Erica geht dann im Fruehling 2016 zu Sofias Familie noerdlich von Madrid. Erica und Lettie haben sie in Calgary abgeholt und waren dann erst einmal 2 Naechte bei Banff.
