Montesorri - Nicole is a preschool-er now, she is going full-time to the summer program of Montessori in July and than after our trip she will be going to the normal preschool program. They are going to the Libary to watch a play for kids, or the waterpark. Her little friend Myles is going there too. So she loves it and we are totally loving it too.
Nicole also has been in swimming lessons for 2 weeks, 6-6.30 pm every weekday. The first day she was to shy to go into the water, but than later she loved it and is doing so fine.
Summer break - Erica has her loooooomg summer break, she is hanging out and enjoying her time off, visiting her friend Brooklyn or go camping with her Dad. I gave her the first driving lessons in my car on a empty parking spot at the UofL, that was quite good, we have to continue with that.
Get ready for trip - we got all organized for our trip, got the money the new suitcases tickets letters from the lawyer (to take the kids also without the other parent) and so on. Can't believe that I will be in Germany next week, that seems so unreal.
25 km hike with the Club, what a hike. We hiked at the Pincher Creek area on the Victoria Ridge. We had still some snow on the top areas. It was a beautiful sunny day not to hot, but the sun was still strong. The hike was between 2000 to 2400 meters altitude.We started the hike at 9 am and cam at 7pm back to the cars.
Hike with Erica - Erica and I had a day in Waterton. I had a holiday and Erica was on summer break already so we went to Waterton, did Bears hump Cameron Lake - townsite and Zum's, just the typical days you do when you go to the Park.
July war ein heisser Monat, Temperaturen ueber 30 Grad. In unserem Haus wurde es oben ganz schoen warm (haben ja keine Umweltverschmuzende Klima Anlage) so das wir manchmal in das 7 Grad kuehlere Untergeschoss geflohen sind, was ja auch sehr sehr gemuetlich ist (Lars kann das bestaetigen). Natuerlich haben wir auch unseren Garten sehr haeufig genutzt und den kleinen Kinderpool.
Nicole geht nun in die Vorschule nach Montesorri. Montessori ist aehnlich wie Waldorf Schulen. Die Kinder gehen z.B. in die Buecherei um ein Puppen Theater zu sehen, oder sie gehen ins Museum oder den Wasserpark. Nicoles kleiner Freund Myles geht auch in diese Schule und die beiden sind froh das sie sich haben.
In den letzten beiden July Wochen hatte Nicole auch ihre ersten Schwimmstunden, zuerst wollte sie garnicht ins Wasser aber nun geht sie gerne in den Pool und ist ganz stolz wenn wir sehen was sie schon alles kann.
Erica hat Sommerferien sie verbringt Zeit mit ihrer Freundin Brooklyn oder ist Zelten mit ihrem Vater. Ich habe ihr auch schon eine erste Fahrstunde gegeben, den schliesslich kann sie naechstes Jahr anfangen Auto zu fahren, mit 14!!!
So langsam haben wir alles zusammen fuer unsere Reise, wir haben Euro und Pfund und 2 neue Reisekoffer und schreiben von den Anwaelten so das ich auch Nicole alleine mit nach Deutschland nehmen darf und Lettie Erica nach Irland und Deutschland.
25 km Wanderung mit dem Club. Die Wanderung war schon extrem lang, aber sehr schon. Wir sind rauf auf einen Sattel und diesen endlang gewandert, das dauerte von 7 Uhr morgens bis 19 Uhr abends, wobei wir immer zwischen 2000 - 2400 meter waren.
Erica und ich waren an einem Tag an dem ich einen Feiertag und sie schon Schulfrei hatte in Waterton. Wir haben eine kleine Wanderung auf den Bears hump gemacht und waren am Cameron See und anschliessend essen bei Zum's in Waterton, halt die Typischen Sachen die man dort macht im Park.
Select BBQ - Lettie's employer had his annually BBQ, Lettie was involved in the "kids activity's'. We had a nice time at the river bottom, even if we had some raindrops. Nicole had a great time dancing with Myles her little friend who goes to the same pre-scholl and who is a Co-workers son.
Lettie Buero hatte die jaehrliche Grill-party. Lettie war in der Planungsgruppe fuer die Kinder aktivitaeten. Wir hatten das BBQ im Flusstal, zum Glueck hat es nur kurz vorher geregnet und nicht die ganze Zeit. Nicole hatte eine Menge Spass mit ihrem kleinen Freund MYles der auch in die gleiche Vorschule wie Nicole geht.
