Back to work after my trip, one week without my team who already transitioned to work from home.

And I really like to work from home, so nice to be home right away after work.

Zurück zur Arbeit, eine Woche ohne mein Team das jetzt schon von zuhause aus arbeitet.

Ich mag es sehr von Zuhause zu arbeiten und direkt zuhause zu sein nach der Arbeit.

We went over the thanksgiving weekend to Waterton and stayed 2 nights in the Rockyridge Cottage. Sofia out Spanish Student came too, even if she was already at Erica's home for the second half of her stay. We had great weather and could do some outdoor activities, but we also had a good time at the cottage that we rented. We went to Cameron lake (Lettie Nicole and me) while Erica and Sofia took a boat trip on the Lake for 2 hours. Waterton is closing down after this weekend and so some stores where already closed while other ran out of food or drinks as they do not stock up anymore on the last day of business. 

Zum Erntedankfest waren wir 2 Nächte in  einem Ferienhaus in den Bergen. Unsere Spanische Studentin kam auch mit. Das Wetter war recht gut und so konnten wir in Waterton Park einiges unternehmen, aber wir haben es ruhig angehen lassen und haben auch die Zeit Ferienhaus genossen. Erica und Sofia haben eine 2 stündige Bootsfahrt auf dem See gemacht, während wir drei an den Cameron Lake gefahren sind. Das ist das letzte Wochenende im Waterton da viele Läden schließen für die Saison und erst in Mai 2016 wieder öffnen.

Oktoberfest at their German Canadian Club, a good way to present my new Bavarian outfit to my family and friends. As every year (9 years now) we have a table of 8, friends neighbors ex coworkers. We have good food some drinks and very nicer conversation. 

Oktober im Deutschen Klub, ein gute Chance mein Bayrisches Outfit zu tragen. Seit 9 Jahren gehen wir zu dem Oktoberfest mit Freunden und wir haben einen Tisch für 8. Es gab gutes Essen und wir hatten eine Menge Spaß.

Weekend in the Crowsenst pass, and Nicole stayed with Bob and Lois or neighbors over night. Wendy Valley, a friend of Lettie's , had her 60th birthday and we where invited to her party.  The house was over floating with people and chaos, but we had a great time. Lettie was babysit by Wendy and later Lettie babysit her kids who are all now adults. It was nice for Lettie to catch up with their lives.

A funny story was our Hotel disaster, I booked a middle priced Hotel in Blairmore which was a smokers Hotel. Even if our room was non smoker, the whole Hotel stank. So we checked in a a brand new renovated Hotel around the corner, which was $50 more expensive but worth any penny. Lettie's joke about the Highwood motel which we left was " I wood rather not stay there". 

Wir waren auf einer Party in den Bergen, und da es nicht unbedingt für Nicole war ist sie bei unseren Nachbarn Bob und Lois geblieben. Nicole hat sich darauf schon seit Wochen gefreut. Lettie und ich hatten ein kleines Abenteuer mit dem Hotel was ich gebucht hatte. Das Hotel war etwas billiger als die anderen, aber es stank nach Qualm. Wir hatten zwar ein Nichtraucher Zimmer aber da andere Räume Raucher Zimmer waren (was ich unmöglich finde für ein Hotel heutzutage) stank das ganze Hotel inklusive unseres Zimmer. So haben wir dann das Hotel wieder verlassen und sind in das brandneue Hotel eine Straße weiter eingezogen. Auf der Party waren viele Leute die Lettie vor vielen Jahren ge Babsit hat, diese sind natürlich schon lange erwachsen und es war für Lettie schön zu sehen was aus ihnen geworden ist.
