May sun and snow and than we hit the 30 degree temperature and it seems the summer is around the corner.

Erica went with other kids of her school to a weekend workshop to BC and had a great time.

Erica war mit anderen Kindern ihrer Schule für eine verlängertes Wochenende  in British Columbia mit einem Schulprogramm.

Mai Sonne und Schnee und dann haben wir endlich die 30 grad marke geknackt, sieht aus als wenn der Sommer bald kommt.

Nicole started soccer, first inside and since the end of May outside. It's nice to see her play and she's good, made ate least 3 Goals in one game, she can run with the ball and get it off other kids feet as well. Sometimes she is more concerned about her hair or to wave to me and not look for the ball, but in the end it's more important that they are active and not lazy computer or TV kids.

Nicole spielt nun Fußball, erst in der Halle und seit Ende Mai draußen auf dem Feld. Es macht Spaß ihr beim speilen zuzuschauen und sie ist gut, machte in einem Spiel 3 Tore. Manchmal ist sie allerdings mehr besorgt das ihr Haar richtig sitzt oder sie winkt mir zu und verpasst das der Ball an ihr vorbei rollt. Aber das wichtigste ist das sie aktiv ist und nicht nur wie viele andere Kinder Tv schaut oder Computer Spiele spielt.

Lettie organized a Volanteer fair at her Job and had quit a few organizations lined up to show the students what's out there. Lettie gets a lot of positiv feedback about her work and she did more in her position in the last 6 months than others before her in years.

Lettie organisiert einen Informationstag für Schüler an ihrer Schule über Organisationen die Freiwilligenhilfe anbieten. Seitdem Lettie and der Hochschule arbeitet bekommt sie oft zu hören was sie in den letzen 6 Monaten positives bewegt hat, so viel hätten ihre Vorgänger nicht zustande bekommen.

First day in Waterton with Nicole, first mountain day of the season. We did the typical things like Bears hump, ice cream,  playground, red rock canyon road. To bad that the Akamina road is still closed, that would have been a great place to see a Bear. Also the Prince of Wales Hotel was still closed, but it never opens before June. 

Erster Tag in Waterton, Nicole und ich fahren an einem US Feiertag den ich habe und wir machen die so typischen Sachen wir zum Beispiel die Wanderung zum Bears hump Aussichts Plateau und wir gehen Eis essen oder zum Spielplatz, leider können wir nicht zum Cameron Lake da die Straße wegen eine Schlammlawine im letzten Jahr noch gesperrt ist. Der See ist bis in den Juni noch mit Schnee bedeckt und man hat eine sehr gute Chance Bären auf den Weg dorthin zu sehen.

Nicole is riding a bike now and it takes her no time to get it figured out after driving the cruiser bike the last two years, she does not need any little wheels to keep the balance.

Nicole kann Fahrrad fahren, da sie 2 Jahre ein Cruiser Bike (ohne Pedale) hatte kann sie ihr neues Rad (mit Pendalen) fahren OHNE Stützräder.

All of us went to a amnesty international information at Lettie's job, a couple acts of live music of former students and students which are at school right now. The four of us had a great time.

 

An Letties Schule haben die Schüler eine Livemusik Veranstaltung gehabt (um für Amnesty Intetnationel zu werben). Wir vier sind dorthin und haben die Schülerbands angehört und hatten eine Gute Zeit.
