Lettie and Erica in Quebec

Hail damage on Lettie's car, did we ever had big hail coming down the sky, so huge it damaged a lot of cars in Lethbridge including Lettie's car. She has dents all over it. There was no chance to go out and move the car, first where to and second you would hit terrible by the hail.
Lettie's insurance will pay the $5500 damage and she will get a rental car for 5-6 days.

Lettie's  Auto ist vom Hagel beschaedigt worden. In Lethbridge waren viele Autos oder Haeuser vom Hagel beschaedigt. Das Auto hat ueberall Beulen, ich hatte keine Chance es wo anders zu parken zu einem wo sollte ich es parken und zweitens man waere fuerchterlich getroffen worden von den Golfball grossen Koernern.
Letties Versicherung zahlt aber die ca. $5500 Schaden und sie bekommt fuer 5-6 Tage einen Leihwagen.

Hail again, and just a couple days later it hailed again like crazy. This time the hail wasn't so big but the amount was incredible, it was all off the sudden whit like in the winter and the temperature dropped from 19 to only plus 3.

Und schon wiederHagel, zum Glueck nicht so grosse Koerner aber mindestens genaus so intensiv, denn es war alles weiss wie im Winter in weniger als 5 Minuten., die Temperatur fiel rapide von 19 auf einmal gerade 3 Grad plus.

Lettie Erica left for Quebec - on July 13th. both left via Calgary to Montreal to stay with a former student who was here in Lethbridge to learn English. They stayed with Claudia and family for a few days before hiding the road and go to discover the coast in Quebec.
Nicole and I try to do the best without Lettie and Erica. I try to make her afternoons interesting, visiting Mom and dad with her, or letting her picked up from Camp by auntie Catherine, maybe go to the Pool with her and one weekend we will go to Fernie in BC to enjoy the mountains.

Lettie und Erica sind und Erica sind fuer 2   Wochen in Quebec auf Urlaub. Die beiden waren zuerst bei Claudia einer Freundin die vor Jahren schon einmal fuer ein paar Wochen in Lethbridge war um Englisch zu lernen da sie selber in Quebec hauptsaechlich franzoesisch sprechen. Nicole und ich werden das beste machen aus der Zeit die wir alleine sind. Wir werden mal in den Pool gehen und auch Oma und Opa besuchen. Ihre Tante wird sie mal vom Camp abholen und ein Wochenende werden wir in die Berge fahren. 

Bee and kids over for Pizza and over vat their house later that week - I had them over at our house and the kids played in the backyard while we had one of my very special Pizza's and later that week ond Friday I stopped at their house so that the kids could play and we had dinner in their backyard.

Bee und ihre Kinder sind zum Pizza essen und spielen zu Nicole und mir gekommen, und dann spaeter in der Woche waren wir bei ihr zum dinner. Nicole spielt gerne mit den beiden und fuer uns erwachsene war es mal gut ein gespraech unter erwachsenen zu haben.

Kitchen bench installed, the bench is in. And Nicole and me could have our very first dinner in the new kitchen.

Nun haben wir auch endlich die Bank und den Tisch in unserer neuen Kueche und Nicole und ich hatten unser erstes Abendessen in der nun fertigen Kueche.

Nicole at GYM Camp- Nicole went to GYM Camp for a week and she loved it. She went to a park saw the UofL Team Mascot, they had PJ day and went the last day to Henderson Lake Park and Pool. I visited her a couple time during lunch break and she really had a great time and made some friends.

Nicole war in einem Gymnastik Camp fuer eine Woche, die Kinder sind u.a. in einen PArk gegangen und haben das Universitaet Maskotchen getroffen, sie sind auch einmal in ein Freibad gegangen und ein paar mal habe ich sie waehrend meiner Mittagspause im Camp besucht, sie hatte wirklich eine tolle Zeit

At Fernie for the weekend  -as Lettie and Erica enjoy time in Quebec I thought we can have some great time too - so we went for a weekend to Fernie. The first day we stopped for brunch at the stone's throw cafe in Blairmore and than hit right away to the Ski lift in Fernie, which runs during the summer month for hikers and bikers. We hiked to the "lost boy lookout" and along the ski track to a snow field which was still up there in mid July. The scenery is just breath taking and going down with the lift is quit step and breath taking too :-)
Later we hit the Pool in Fernie checked in the Hotel had dinner at Restaurant at the Bridge went to the Playground to the Hotel Hot tub, and had a movie and Popcorn in our room. The next day we drove to the "Island lake resort" a great place in the Fernie Mountains, you have to go up steep on a dusty gravel trd to come to the jewel in the mountains. From there we drove home later that day.

Nicole waren in Fernie in den Bergen in der Provinz British Columbia fuer ein Wochenende, waehrend Lettie und Erica in Quebec waren.Wir haben auf den Weg nach Fernie im Crowsnest Pass gestoppt, in  der Gegend wo wir unser Ferienhaus haben. Dann spaeter in Fernie sind wir mit dem Skilift (der hier auch im Sommer fuer Wanderer oder Mountain biker faehert) rauf auf den Berg und haben eine kleine Wanderung gemacht. Sapeter am Nachmittag waren wir dann im Hotel Pool und sind in Fernie in ein gutes Restaurant gegangen. Den naechsten Tag waren wir am Island Lake resort, einem schoenen kleinen Berg resort wohin man ueber eine steile Staubige Piste fahren muss. Hier haben wir den See umrundet und die Natur genossen.
