Skiing with Nicole Emma and Jason

Erica is doing well at school as usual and she is practicing for her play at school and ballet again at the same time. Nicole is doing fine at pre-school and has fun on all the little projects like building a box for her Valentines.

Erica ist wie immer ein wirklich guter Schueler, sie probt im moment fuer das Schul Teater (The Beauty and the Beast) und auch fuer das Ballet wo sie einen Part hat. Nicole hat viel Spass in der Vor-schule und hat oft projekte an denen sie arbeitet.

Play date with Myles, after asking me every day I could not say no a one point. Myles came every date asking me if he can have a play-date with Nicole. So one day I talked to his Mom and I picked him and Nicole up at school and the played together at our house and he stayed also for dinner and his bath with Nicole :-), they had a great time.

Nicole und Myles hatten ein Playdate, nachdem Myles jeden !!! Tag, wenn ich Nicole abholte in der Schule, fragte "koennen wir heute zusammen spielen" hatte er mich irgendwann weichgekocht und ich habe mit seiner Mama vereinbart das ich ihn mit nachhause nehme und abends zu seiner Schlafenszeit wieder abliefern werde.

Skiing with Jason and Mark.I was skiing again (the third weekend in the row, a new record for me), in the morning I was skiing with Jason who was also working as a Ski host that day. In the afternoon I was skiing with Mark who we just meet at lunch. The snow was ok and we had some very good runs that day.

Ski fahren mit Jason, das war das dritte Wochenende in Reihenfolge das ich Ski fahren war. Jason konnte nur bis Mittags, da er noch nach Ravelstoke wollte um mit seinen Sohn Ski zu fahren. Aber ich bin dann mit Mark am Nachmittag gefahren, den wir zufaellig in unserer lunch Pause getroffen haben. Und wir hatten den ganzen tag gute Abfahrten.

Valentines day and wedding anniversary, I met Lettie at Moca Cabana for lunch and brought her nice flowers and a card which played a song (It hat to be you...). But when I came back from lunch I had a nice candy chocolate surprise from her delivered to my desk (eatable arrangements).
That weekend after we went to Waterton for a night, where we stayed at the Waterton Lodge resort, it was the second year that we stayed there for our anniversary, seems to get a nice little tradition. The kids stayed with Loretta and family (the night before we had her kids over, her 4 and our 2 makes unbelievable 6 kids at our house, but everything was just fine).
On the Saturday we dropped them all off at Loretta's house and Lettie and I went to Waterton to stay there over night. On the way there we stopped at the Twin Butte Mexican Pub for a snack. We could check in early at the Hotel and so we had a nice rest, later a walk thru the town-site and we visited the Pool and hot tub before our awesome dinner at the Vimy Lodge.
The next morning we had fresh snow, after a nice breakfast we had back to Lethbridge, those anniversary weekends are sooo nice and we really recharge our batteries.

Valentines tag und Hochzeitstag in den Bergen. Am 14/2/13 habe ich Lettie in meiner verlaengerten Mittagspause in einem Restaurant getroffen und ihr einen grossen Strauss Blumen gebracht, sowie eine Karte die ein Lied gespielt hat "It hat to be you......). Das drauffolgende Wochenende waren wir beiden (wie letztes Jahr) in Waterton und hatten ein romantisches Wochenende. Die Nacht vor unserem Wochende haben wir die Kinder unseres Nachbarn ueber Nacht gehabt, diese sind mit Erica und Nicole befreundet, da die nachbran die naechste Nacht unsere Kinder genommen haben konnten wir natuerlich nicht nein sagen allerdings haben die Nachbarn 4 Kinder (6 Monate bis 13 Jahre) so das wir 6 Kinder ueber Nacht hatten!!!
Den Samstag auf den Weg nach Waterton waren wir in dem Mexicanischen Pub in Twin Butte zum Mittag:

Wir konnten dann in unserem Hotel frueher einchecken und haben erst einmal relaxed und spaeter dann einen Spaziergng durch das verschneite Waterton gemacht. Das Hotel hat auch einen Pool und hot-tub, und hatten spaeter ein klasse Eseen in der Vimy Lounge. Am naechsten morgen hatten wir Neuschnee und Waterton war wieder einmal ein Winter Maerchen.

Myles over night -  his Mom asked us if we can take Myles over night during a weekday. So we tried to entertain the kids which went well (mostly). At night the both decided to play and talk instead of sleeping ahhh so we all where kind of tired the next day.

Wir hatten Myles (Nicole's kleiner Freund und future Ehemann) ueber Nacht bei uns unter der Woche, allerdings meinten die beiden mitten in der Nacht spielen und sich unterhalten zu muessen, ahhhhhhhh so waren wir alle den naechsten Tage muede.

Skiing with Nicole and Emma (her friend from pre-school) and Jason (who is Emma's Step Granddad).It was very icy on the way to Castle, and very full at the parking Spot because of two events going on there. But after we got everything we needed and after a nice breakfast Nicole and I hit the ski slopes and had a great day. Especially because her friend Emma and her Step Granddad Jason (my friend) where there too so the kids skied together , each on a leash down the hill. They had soooo much fun. From 1:00 - 2:30 both kids went to the day-care and played while Jason and I had some runs by our self. Than we picked the kids up and take another 2-3 runs before having Nachos and Juice (or Beer for me) at the T-bar.

Ski fahren mit Nicole und ihrer Freundin Emma und deren Stief-opa Jason (ein Freund mit dem ich immer Ski fahre). Es war etwas eisig bevor wir nach Castle Mountain kamen und der Parkplatz dort war sehr sehr voll. Aber es war ein schooner Skitag. Nicole und Emma waren von 1:00 - 2:30 in der Kindertagesstaette und spielten waehrend Jason und ich auch einmal fahren konnten. Danach haben wir dann och ein paar Abfahrten mit den Kindern gemacht bevor alle in der T-bar |Saft getrunken haben (Bier fuer mich).
